The economy for 2022 is continuing to show signs of strength. The Congressional Budget Office forecasted the economy to grow by 7.4% by the end of 2021 and 3.1% by the end of 2022, exceeding its long-term potential. Industry sources also show a positive outlook, with Dodge Data & Analytics expecting 6% growth in 2022, even amid challenges with labor, supply chains and productivity.

With a strong economy comes a demand for innovative construction solutions to help business owners meet both the current and future demands of the marketplace. Today’s steel buildings offer almost limitless possibilities in form and function.

Direct Steel is proud to be working with Unilock, Inc., a leading international manufacturer of paving stones, slabs, and other innovative masonry products. The company is building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Uxbridge, Mass. Direct Steel will be erecting a 45,000 sq. ft. pre-engineered metal building to house the operation. Construction begins in April.
