The key to every successful construction project is hiring quality subcontractors. Although it can be a challenge finding the right ones for the job, selections can be made with confidence if time is taken to pre-qualify them.
Pre-qualification should include identifying key qualities of the subcontractor. How experienced are they in their trade? Do they have the proper licenses and certifications? Do they have the capability to complete the specific project? Can they meet the project schedule? Are they flexible and able to handle changes? Do they have a safety plan in place? Do they have a history of safety violations?
After a Subcontractor is pre-qualified, a good working relationship has been developed and trust has been established, add them to an established network for future consideration. Hiring sub-contractors with a proven track record of high performance and on-time completion of projects is essential for success.
COMPANY NEWS

Although record snowfalls brought not only construction jobsites, but the entire state to a halt for a few weeks, Direct did not let that hinder completion of the Phase 1 Buildout project in Southern Texas. The highly qualified subcontractors jumped right back onto the project once the weather cleared and allowed Direct to complete the project within the original time-frame provided to the client.
